D’Alessandro went 12-for-15 for 191 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, Cash Redman punched in 2 more scores on the ground on just 10 carries (105 yards), and Darian Webb hauled in 4 catches for 79 yards and a touchdown. It was a complete offensive effort from a team that entered the night as one of the more dangerous units in North County — the kind of opponent that tests a program at every level.

On the other side of the ball, Oceanside’s Noa Letuli was the workhorse the Pirates leaned on all night, carrying the ball 14 times for 48 yards against a stout Carlsbad front. Importantly, this result doesn’t define Oceanside’s season.
